The candidate will work independently, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external customers to deliver high-quality, scalable software with strong testing and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Android development skills (Kotlin/Java) and modern Android tooling.
• Proven experience with multi-platform frameworks (React Native) and web app development.
• Working knowledge of computer vision, camera APIs, and OCR concepts.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals including Git, code review, unit/integration testing, and CI concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer-facing applications using Android, React Native, and web technologies.
• Integrate mobile/front-end with backend services for data sync and consistency.
• Integrate AI/vision capabilities using SDKs; optimize camera APIs for real-time capture.
• Refactor prototype code into modular, maintainable architectures (multi-module Gradle projects).
• Build automated test harnesses to validate recognition accuracy, performance, and regression.
