Job summary

Harvey Nash Technology seeks a Senior Android Developer (Kotlin Multiplatform) to design, implement and optimize Android apps across Kotlin Multiplatform. You will work on API integrations and modular architectures while delivering high-quality mobile experiences.

You bring 5+ years of Android and Kotlin Multiplatform expertise, MVVM, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Firebase, and a solid grasp of Agile practices. Strong English and proactive problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Android development and Kotlin Multiplatform experience.
• Expert knowledge of Android SDK and device configurations.
• Experience with Jetpack libraries, MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and Coroutines.
• Experience with Firebase configuration.
• Familiarity with LLMs and agentic development.
• Experience with Git, JIRA, Confluence and code reviews.
• Strong Agile methodologies understanding.
• Professional English level (min B2).

• Integrate data and functionality through API interfaces in mobile applications
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements and propose your own solutions to problems
• Apply LLMs and agentic development workflows to support the SDLC process
• Follow Google's Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices
• Participate in code reviews and work in an Agile environment

You bring:

• 5+ years of experience in Android development and Kotlin Multiplatform
• Expert knowledge of Android SDK, different Android versions and device configurations
• Experience with Android Architecture components, Jetpack libraries, MVVM and Clean Architecture
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and Coroutines
• Experience optimizing mobile apps in Java and Kotlin
• Experience with Firebase configuration
• Good knowledge of working with LLMs and agentic development
• Familiarity with Git, JIRA, Confluence and code review processes
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies
• Attention to detail, a proactive approach and a strong focus on solution delivery
• English at a professional level (minimum B2)
