Job summary

Sonoma Consulting Inc. is looking for a Rockstar Android developer with substantial architecture experience. This full-time permanent role, based in Alpharetta, Georgia, focuses on designing and implementing Android solutions for Retail partners.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in native Android development, as well as a solid background in application design and development, particularly in an architecture capacity. We welcome U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work independently in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of native Android (JAVA) development experience.
• 10+ years in application design and development.
• 5+ years in an architecture role.
• Familiar with architecture frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with agile development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an Android offering for Retail partners.
• Plan specifications with business counterparts.
• Lead development with multiple teams.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in IT reference architecture.
• Educate the development team on architecture standards.
