Job summary

Nordstrom seeks a Data Analyst 3 - Anaplan Model Builder to join the S&OP/S&OE enablement team supporting NCoder, Nordstrom's network volume planning product. You will own the design, build, and maintenance of Anaplan models to scale governance and align with evolving business needs.

Responsibilities include designing modules, dashboards, and calculations, coordinating with planners and engineering, and maintaining data connections via BigQuery and Airflow.

Qualifications

• Degree required or equivalent with strong analytics background.
• 3–5+ years building and maintaining Anaplan models.
• Anaplan Certified Model Builder (Level 3) or equivalent preferred.
• Strong understanding of Anaplan architecture: modules, lists, hierarchies, actions, dashboards.
• Experience with data integration/ETL — BigQuery, Airflow pipelines, or similar.
• Comfortable with SQL for querying source and destination tables.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into structured technical designs.
• Supply chain domain experience preferred.
• Comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Anaplan model modules, dashboards, and calculation logic.
• Translate volume-planning requirements into scalable Anaplan designs.
• Manage data connections between Anaplan and DataHub (BigQuery via Airflow).
• Maintain model sequence across Workstreams and related downstream models.
• Optimize models for performance and new workflows.
• Document model logic, data flows, and governance rules.
• Collaborate with data engineering on source/destination tables and Airflow issues.
• Train and support Supply Chain planners and downstream users.
