Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst 3 - Anaplan Model Builder to design, build, and maintain NCoder Anaplan models. You will partner with Supply Chain planners and engineering to ensure scalable, governed models across inbound, outbound, returns, and task workstreams.

You will manage data connections to DataHub via BigQuery and Airflow, optimize performance, and document business rules. 3–5+ years in Anaplan modeling and strong SQL skills are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years building and maintaining Anaplan models; Anaplan Certified Model Builder (Level 3) or equivalent preferred.
• Strong understanding of Anaplan architecture: modules, lists, hierarchies, actions, dashboards, hub-and-spoke model design.
• Experience with data integration/ETL — BigQuery, Airflow-orchestrated pipelines, or similar.

• Design, build, and maintain Anaplan models across NCoder's modules (Inbound, DC Outbound, Store Inbound, Returns, Task).
• Translate volume-planning requirements into scalable Anaplan designs with cross-functional partners.

## **Job Description**The **Data Analyst 3 - Anaplan Model Builder** will be a member of the S&OP/S&OE technical enablement team supporting NCoder, Nordstrom's network volume planning product within Supply Chain Network Throughput Planning. NCoder transforms cross-functional enterprise plans and forecasts into warehouse-level volume plans across six connected Anaplan models — Inbound, DC Outbound, Store Inbound, Returns, and Task, staged through a central DataHub — informing operational resource decisions across Nordstrom's distribution centers, fulfillment centers, and stores. The **Data Analyst 3 - Anaplan Model Builder** will own the design, build, and maintenance of NCoder's Anaplan models, partnering closely with Supply Chain planners and engineering to keep the platform scalable, well-governed, and aligned to evolving business needs.**A day in the life...*** Design, build, and maintain modules, dashboards, and calculation logic across NCoder's Anaplan models (Inbound, DC Outbound, Store Inbound, Returns, Task)* Partner with Supply Chain planners and product/engineering leads to translate volume-planning requirements into scalable Anaplan model designs* Manage and troubleshoot data connections between Anaplan and DataHub, the central staging layer that receives all external data from BigQuery via Airflow import DAGs* Maintain the model sequence and dependencies across Workstream 1 (Inbound → DC Outbound → Store Inbound) and Workstream 2 (Returns, running independently), both feeding the downstream Task model* Optimize models for performance and usability as planning cadence, data volume, and new workflows (e.g., fulfillment, last mile) come online* Document model logic, data flows, and business rules to support governance, onboarding, and audit needs* Partner with data engineering on BigQuery source/destination tables and Airflow DAG issues that affect model refreshes* Train and support Supply Chain planners and downstream consumers (Warehouse Ops, Transportation, Store Ops, SC Finance) on using NCoder models* Leverage AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code and Claude Desktop to accelerate model documentation, testing, and workflow automation**You own this if you have...*** Degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field* 3-5+ years building and maintaining Anaplan models; Anaplan Certified Model Builder (Level 3) or equivalent preferred* Strong understanding of Anaplan architecture: modules, lists, hierarchies, actions, dashboards, hub-and-spoke model design* Experience with data integration/ETL — BigQuery, Airflow-orchestrated pipelines, or similar* Comfortable with SQL for querying source and destination tables* Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into structured technical model designs* Supply chain domain experience preferred (DC/FC/store operations, inbound/outbound logistics, returns, or labor/task planning)* Comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical stakeholders **Pay Range Details**The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws.
