Slalom, a data experience leader, seeks an Analytics Engineer to bridge business needs with technical solutions. You’ll work with modern data platforms and semantic layers to empower analytics, AI, and decision support, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

The role emphasizes building data-rich apps, advancing data models, and ensuring data quality. A hybrid client-facing work model with travel is expected, with a strong focus on delivering user-centered analytics experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years leading project teams and complex work streams.
• Proficient in SQL and Python and analytics platforms.
• Strong data modeling, ETL, and solution design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and modernize semantic layers for self-service analytics.
• Develop data-rich apps blending Power BI, Tableau, Sigma with Streamlit.
• Lead design sessions translating insights into data models.
• Develop and optimize data models using SQL, Python.
• Collaborate with data engineers and scientists on data quality.
• Implement best practices for data integration and governance.
• Contribute to holistic, user-centered analytics experiences.
