Clearway Energy Group seeks a Senior Analyst, Analytics Engineering to bridge business questions and trusted data. You’ll work with asset managers and analytics teams to translate needs into data models and deliver reports, dashboards, and light predictive analyses.

The role combines hands-on analytics (SQL, dbt, Python) with analytics engineering on a modern stack (Snowflake, Hex, Streamlit, GitLab). This position is based in Scottsdale, AZ with a hybrid in-office schedule (3 days/week).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, Data Science, Finance, Economics, or related field and 3+ years in data analytics/analytics engineering
• Strong SQL skills including joins, window functions, CTEs, and query optimization
• Hands-on dbt experience building and maintaining models, tests, and documentation
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis (pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Plotly)
• Experience with data modeling and analytics-ready data structures
• Experience with Git version control and code reviews
• Ability to use AI coding tools responsibly and review generated code

Responsibilities

• Partner with asset managers and analytics teams to translate business questions into requirements and deliverables
• Manage a backlog of reporting/analysis requests and communicate scope and timelines
• Develop revenue analytics, reporting, and data visualizations to provide timely insights
• Model SAP data in Snowflake for accounting, procurement, and O&M reporting; create well-structured data sets
• Develop and maintain dbt models and data tests; ensure data quality and timeliness
• Create monthly curtailment reports for wind, solar, and solar-plus-storage fleets; validate data and outputs
• Build lightweight predictive analyses using Python and prototype workflows for production deployment
• Document data models, definitions, and governance practices and ensure data security and access controls
