Job summary

Paddle is a global digital payments platform. We seek a Senior Analytics Engineer to shape our data infrastructure, develop robust data models in Snowflake with dbt, and promote best practices in analytics engineering.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-value data solutions and mentor junior team members. You will enable self-service analytics, improve data quality, and document datasets with metadata.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in analytics engineering or related data roles.
• Expertise in advanced SQL, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Experience using BI tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, Snowsight).
• Skilled in data ingestion using no-code tools (Fivetran, Stitch).
• Knowledge of metadata, data quality checks, and data masking.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain scalable data models in Snowflake using dbt.
• Expose datasets in BI tools for self-service analytics.
• Perform data ingestion tasks using no-code tools.
• Add metadata, documentation, and data quality checks to datasets.
• Activate data by pushing from Snowflake to operational tools.
• Identify and raise data quality issues to process owners.
