Job summary

SHI International seeks a Sr. Software Engineer - Analytics Engineering to design and optimize enterprise-grade Power BI semantic models. You will leverage DAX to implement complex calculations and support governance, performance, and data quality across the analytics stack.

You will work in a hybrid setup (Austin, TX or Somerset, NJ) with cross-functional partners. Experience with Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, and ALM Toolkit is required, along with strong data warehousing and modeling

Qualifications

• Advanced expertise in analytics engineering and semantic modeling.
• Strong proficiency with DAX and enterprise reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI datasets, reports, and dataflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize Power BI semantic models using Power BI Desktop and modeling tools.
• Develop advanced DAX measures to support complex business logic and analytics use cases.
• Ensure models are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards within Microsoft Fabric.
