Job summary

Chamberlain Group is seeking a Lead Analytics Engineer to define and publish Gold-layer data models and enterprise metrics. You will craft scalable, self-service analytics using Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, and Databricks, while mentoring engineers and aligning stakeholders on metric definitions.

You will design dashboards and data contracts, drive governance, and optimize performance and cost in a hybrid Oak Brook, IL environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in analytics engineering or data warehousing with production data
• 2+ years hands-on with Databricks and Lakehouse architecture
• Ability to define enterprise metrics and governance standards

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Gold-layer data models and data marts
• Define enterprise metrics as governed Unity Catalog views
• Develop modular transformation logic with data quality tests
• Build Databricks dashboards and migrate legacy reports
• Lead design reviews and mentor engineers and analysts
