Job summary

Deepgram is seeking a senior technical IC to help build a decision layer and semantic models that power real-time voice AI capabilities. You will turn warehouse data into conformed gold tables and agent-facing tools, enabling reliable answers for analysts and AI agents.

This is a senior, highly autonomous role on a new team. You’ll work on modeling, governance, and data surfaces, shaping how metrics are defined and used across sales, product, and finance.

Qualifications

• AI-native practice demonstrated and used daily.
• Production-grade SQL and Python.
• Semantic or metrics layer ownership with defined definitions.
• Modeling judgement over tool knowledge and grain/keys.
• Comfort with work-in-progress infrastructure.
• Clear written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Model the gold layer with conformed entities for core objects.
• Own the semantic layer and keep metrics consistent across outputs.
• Build the agent-facing surface and governance around data access.
• Make correctness checkable with assertions and provenance.
• Absorb business questions and evolve data models for future needs.
