Job summary

AES Corporation's AES Clean Energy division seeks a Senior Analytics Engineer to build data analytics architecture supporting O&M growth, expanding data availability for stakeholders, and delivering scalable data solutions.

The role requires experience with SCADA/DAS data, SQL, Python, and cloud platforms; you will own data pipelines, collaborate across teams, and contribute to AI/ML projects for wind, solar, and storage assets. Occasional travel up to 5-10%.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or CS with 5+ years in analytics/engineering.
• Strong SQL, Python or R, and BI dashboarding experience.
• Experience with DAS/SCADA data and cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data warehouses, data cleansing, dashboards, pipelines, and automated reporting.
• Ensure data quality, reliability and availability across CE assets and workflows.
• Own data engineering platforms and collaborate to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Lead AI/ML initiatives with AES Digital and O&M teams.
• Be the subject-matter expert for data-related aspects of operations.
