Job summary

Clean Energy Fuels seeks a Senior Data Science, AI & Analytics Engineer to design AI-enabled data solutions across North America. You will build scalable data pipelines, implement intelligent automation, and develop analytics using Azure Databricks, Power BI, and APIs to support operations and asset performance.

You’ll lead data engineering, governance, and cross-functional collaboration from requirements through deployment, improving operational visibility and decision making with real-time

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in data analytics and AI engineering.
• Cloud analytics architecture experience.
• Advanced SQL and Python proficiency.
• Power BI administration and governance experience (preferred).
• Experience supporting AI and machine learning solutions (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, enterprise data products, APIs, integrations, and analytics solutions using Azure Databricks, SQL, Python, and cloud-based technologies.
• Develop data integration frameworks connecting ERP systems, operational platforms, financial applications, IoT devices, external systems, and third-party data providers.
• Design and maintain secure API-based integrations that enable efficient data exchange across enterprise applications and business processes.
• Develop trusted, reusable, and governed datasets that support reporting, analytics, AI, automation, and operational intelligence initiatives.
• Implement modern data engineering practices including data quality validation, automated testing, monitoring, observability, lineage tracking, and performance optimization.
