Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is hiring an Analytics Engineer to join the Compliance Technology team within the Platform organization. You will build end-to-end data pipelines powering compliance detection and decisioning, partnering with Compliance, Product, and Engineering to ensure control effectiveness.

You will own data quality, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive measurement frameworks for compliance control performance, delivering auditable outputs and scalable tooling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of analytics engineering or data-focused roles.
• Strong SQL with complex transformations and data quality checks.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data models using dbt/Airflow.
• Ability to operate in regulated environments with clear written and verbal communication.
• Python skills for automation and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain curated datasets and data models powering compliance controls.
• Own data quality for compliance datasets with validation, lineage, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to close upstream data gaps and standardize instrumentation.
• Improve detection signal quality while reducing non-actionable noise.
• Create repeatable reporting pipelines for Compliance leaders and auditors.
