Job summary

Finom is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to advance the central data model and build tooling that connects data to AI tools used across the company. You will design entities and metrics, maintain pipelines, and onboard new data sources, ensuring data quality and governance.

Qualifications

Job description

• Central Data owns Finom's central data model, certified metrics, and the rails through which the company and its AI agents use data.
• As Senior Analytics Engineer, you'll keep developing that model and build tooling connecting it to AI tools used across the company.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Design and evolve entities, metrics, and data products in the central model, with tests, lineage, and documentation.
• Build and maintain pipelines, onboard new data sources, and keep CI/CD and data quality checks running.
• Interview stakeholders, understand their processes, and connect each piece of data work to its business cost and value.

• High autonomy: you choose the tools and approach, including trialling new vendors and open-source solutions.
• Sign-off is needed only for architecture and anything that feeds high-stakes decisions; priorities are set by business impact.

Who You Are:

• You write expert SQL and have strong dimensional or semantic data modelling skills, plus working Python with tests and version control.
• You've built metrics and semantic layers, have ETL and warehouse experience, and have used LLMs hands‑on in production data work.
• You work like a consultant to the business: understand processes, propose solutions, and frame them in terms of business value.
