Job summary

BetterUp is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to design and scale data products in a modern data stack, backed by intelligent warehousing and BI systems. You will contribute to AI-infused analytics and own data quality, governance, and security across teams.

You’ll lead the analytics engineering efforts, mentor peers, and help deliver self-serve BI at scale while aligning with BetterUp’s mission to transform work through data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Experience building data modeling systems in a modern data stack.
• Proficiency with data warehousing and business intelligence systems.
• Experience guiding analytics engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build and maintain data products (dbt models, pipelines, Looker explores) for data-driven decisions.
• Build and maintain ELT pipelines from source systems to data warehouses.
• Drive analytics roadmap and enable self-serve BI at scale.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to engineers.
• Improve data trust via observability, lineage, and governance.
• Contribute to a robust data security strategy.
• Solve critical business problems with programming and analytics.
