Job summary

ModMed is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our high-performing Data Analytics team. You will turn complex business questions into scalable data models and actionable insights, partnering with stakeholders across the company to help unlock analytics and AI-driven decisions.

You’ll design trusted data models, build dbt pipelines, and craft dashboards while exploring GenAI opportunities to enhance data products in a healthcare IT environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or related fields.
• Fluency in SQL, dbt, and ideally Python; strong understanding of data tooling and engineering principles.
• Experience with Databricks (AWS preferred).
• Curiosity about Generative AI and data products.
• Ability to work across marketing, product, finance, sales, and customer success.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to understand goals and translate into data solutions.
• Design and implement trusted data models (dimensional/star schemas) for self-service analytics.
• Translate raw data into narratives, metrics, and visualizations to drive action.
• Drive adoption of Enterprise Data Model; build and maintain dbt pipelines.
• Collaborate on dashboards and visualizations using modern BI tools.
• Manage and optimize our Databricks environment.
