Job summary

CoStar Group in Arlington, VA is seeking a Senior Analytics Data Engineer for Homes.com to design and scale end-to-end data infrastructure, transforming raw data into high-quality datasets powering internal insights and customer-facing product experiences.

This role collaborates cross-functionally to define data strategy, build reliable pipelines, and deliver scalable BI solutions that enable self-service analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL, Python, PySpark, data warehousing, and BI tools.
• 2+ years of experience with data engineering tools and pipeline management.
• Experience with cloud platforms and data warehouses (AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, MS SQL).
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and tooling in development.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Proven track record with prior employers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design and deployment of automated data infrastructure and pipelines.
• Collaborate with product and software teams to define tracking strategies and data requirements.
• Develop data quality, audits, and discrepancy resolution processes.
• Design warehouse architecture and data models to support analytics and front-end use cases.
• Partner with product, marketing, and sales to provide data access and analysis tools.
• Lead business analysis to interpret data and inform decisions.
• Develop scalable BI solutions in Power BI from curated datasets.
• Apply analytics and data science techniques to curate datasets and models.
• Collaborate with Data Science/ML teams to productionize models and scale AI use cases.
