Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline in the United States is seeking a Scientist in the Analytical Development department. You will design and perform experiments to develop, validate and transfer analytical methods, contributing to all stages of pharmaceutical development and collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.

You will lead assay development and validation efforts, ensuring GMP-compliant documentation, data interpretation, and communication of results to the team.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in chemistry or related field with relevant experience as defined.
• Experience with method development and validation and analytical lifecycle management.
• Strong technical writing and data interpretation skills.
• Experience with multiple analytical techniques and lab procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and perform assays supporting development, release and stability testing of drug substances and products.
• Document laboratory work in line with GxP expectations and company policy.
• Review experiments, stability protocols and other key documentation.
• Contribute to sections of patents or regulatory submissions and internal reports.
• Identify and troubleshoot problems; interpret results and communicate them to the supervisor.
