Job summary

ORIC Pharmaceuticals is seeking an analytical research and development scientist to join the CMC group. You will lead analytical method development, validation, and stability testing, working with CDMOs and internal teams to ensure robust product characterization.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with Regulatory and Quality, oversee GMP activities, and contribute to NDA/IND activities. Hybrid/remote work is negotiable, base salary noted.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in analytical chemistry or relevant field with 7-10+ years of pharma/biotech experience.
• Experience in process chemistry aspects of drug development and NDA for small molecules.
• Extensive hands-on experience and mechanistic understanding of analytical technologies (UHPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS, SFC, dissolution, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Manage outsourced and in-house research; act as SME for tech transfer to CDMOs/CTOs.
• Lead analytical method development, validation, and release/stability testing at CDMOs and in-house.
• Oversee GMP manufacturing and product characterization with external partners; justify specs.
• Prepare and review development reports and regulatory filing sections; support INDs/NDAs.
