Placements24 is seeking a Senior Analytical Development Scientist in East London, ZA, to develop and validate analytical methods for pharmaceutical products. You will work across API to finished product analysis, ensuring QA/regulatory compliance and tight method control.

The role requires 5+ years in analytics, strong HPLC/UPLC/GC/MS/spectroscopy experience, and hands-on lab leadership in a cGMP environment. On-site work in East London with opportunities for growth.

Competenze

• Master's or PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related field.
• 5+ years of analytical method development and validation in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Hands-on with HPLC, UPLC, GC, MS, UV-Vis, FTIR.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP and ICH guidelines for analytical testing/validation.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects on-site in East London.

Mansioni

• Develop, validate, and implement analytical methods for APIs and finished products.
• Perform routine testing using HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and dissolution testing.
• Characterize impurities and stability; write reports and validation protocols.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and method issues.
