Job summary

Celldex is seeking an experienced Analytical Development leader to oversee equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliant laboratory operations, aligned with cGMP where applicable.

You will manage workload assignments, review notebooks and technical reports, supervise ELN templates, coordinate instrument services, inventory control, and sample handling, while driving improvements and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS in biology/biotechnology or related field; MS preferred.
• 8–10+ years in Analytical Development, senior/leadership role.
• Experience with ELISA, HPLC, UPLC, CE-SDS, cIEF, DSC, DSF, SEC-MALS, DLS, LC-MS.
• Familiar with ELN software and data review processes.
• Strong documentation and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee equipment maintenance and troubleshooting in the lab.
• Review notebooks, ELNs, and technical reports for accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage equipment service plans and scheduling with technicians.
• Oversee IT tickets and software/equipment issues.
• Lead lab supervision, inventory management and reagent acquisition.
• Schedule lab equipment PM/installation and instrument logs.
• Identify and propose solutions to problems; implement actions or designs.
• Supervise laboratory investigations ensuring compliance and quality.
• Propose improvements to methods, procedures and lab systems.
• Willingness to own projects and complete them independently.
