Job summary

Celldex is seeking an Associate Scientist in Analytical Development to support robust analytical methods for QC. You will document activities in notebooks and reports following GDP and contribute to method development, qualification, and general lab upkeep.

The role involves handling solution prep, inventory, and ensuring orderly laboratory operations while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in science with 2–4 years lab experience.
• MS in science with 0–2 years lab experience.
• 0–4 years in Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical industry working with biological products.
• Experience with HPLC, ELISA, CE-SDS (CGE), cIEF, and standard analytical techniques preferred.
• Meticulous documentation and strong writing skills; ability to think critically.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize analytical methods (e.g., HPLC, UPLC, CE-SDS, cIEF, UV/Vis, ELISA) for testing drug substances and drug products.
• Perform qualification studies: accuracy, precision, linearity, range, specificity, detection and quantitation limits.
• Draft GDP‑compliant technical reports and SOPs; maintain notebooks and electronic records.
• Order and receive reagents and labware; maintain inventory and log samples.
• Coordinate with other groups for testing and equipment needs; operate laboratory equipment and ensure cleanliness.
