Master Builders Solutions is seeking a Scientist III - Analytical Chemistry to lead complex analyses supporting quality control, product development, and technical consulting for concrete and construction materials. You will interpret results, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams.

The role emphasizes method development, validation, and problem solving with oversight of ISO-compliant procedures and environmental health standards in a laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• Master's or higher degree in Analytical Chemistry is required.
• Substantial experience in small molecule characterization and extraction techniques.
• Ph.D. degree is preferred for higher responsibility.
• Greater than 2 years of industrial analytical chemistry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analytical testing using techniques such as HPLC, GC, GC-MS, FTIR, UV-Vis, SEC, thermal analysis, particle size analysis, and microscopy.
• Develop, validate, and maintain analytical methods for materials and products.
• Provide timely analytical results and interpretations to stakeholders.
• Identify unknown organic/inorganic compounds and support Field Service, Manufacturing, and Product Development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and support new product development.
• Lead or participate in client meetings, audits, and provide technical consulting.
• Mentor junior staff on instrumentation, methodology, and safety.
