Placements24 is seeking a Senior Analytical Chemist to join the Quality Control team in Welkom. This hybrid role combines on-site lab work with remote duties, to ensure product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

You will develop, validate, and implement analytical methods while troubleshooting and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has an MSc/PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related field, 5+ years of experience, and strong hands-on expertise with HPLC, GC, MS, FTIR, and

Competenze

• Requires MSc or PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in analytical chemistry, preferably in a regulated industry (pharma/chemical).
• Proficiency with a range of analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, MS, spectroscopy).
• Strong understanding of method development, validation, and regulatory compliance.

Mansioni

• Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using HPLC, GC, MS, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
• Perform routine testing and analysis to meet stringent quality specifications.
• Investigate deviations and out-of-spec results, documenting thoroughly.
• Write and review SOPs, validation protocols, and analytical reports.
