Job summary

ProMed in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Chemist to lead analytical method development, method transfer, and validation for pharmaceutical dosage forms and medical device products. You will develop HPLC methods, test materials, and write development reports under GMP guidelines.

Requires a Bachelor’s in chemistry and 6–10 years of analytical chem experience, with strong data analysis, instrumentation skills (HPLC, Waters Empower 3), and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field with 6–10 years in analytical chemistry.
• Experience with HPLC and standard laboratory instrumentation.
• Knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Analytical method development and validation experience.
• Strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of analytical test methods for experiments and products.
• Serve as lead analyst for development projects and method transfers.
• Draft validation, transfer, and instrument qualification protocols.
• Record experiments and report data to stakeholders.
• Write development and validation reports and participate in team meetings.
• Train junior staff on test methods and instrumentation.
