Job summary

George Consulting, LTD seeks a Sr. Analytic Application Developer to support the Navy International Program Office at the Washington Navy Yard. The role focuses on agile development, data pipelines, and database solutions in a DoD environment.

You will collaborate with government personnel to refine requirements, lead a development team, and ensure delivery against benchmarks while complying with security requirements and on-site core hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience.
• Experience leading a development team.
• Experience with at least 3 of the following languages: Python, R, ColdFusion, C#, .NET, Java.
• Experience developing within the Advana Platform; DOWs enterprise data and analytics environment.
• Experience with at least 2 of the following UI standards: CSS, HTML, Angular, REACT.
• Experience with the Power Platform Low Code (Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, Power BI, AI Builder and CoPilot Virtual Agents)
• Experience with one or more Azure Ecosystem services (e.g. Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Bricks, AI Foundry, AI Search, Data Factory)
• Experience with one or more of the following Data Tools: Palantir, Qlik, Tableau, Databricks, Oracle products, Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with Data and Querying standards (DDL, DML, DCL, TCL, SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL)
• Experience leveraging REST, Graph, SPARQL and SOAP APIs in business processes
• Experience with DEVSECOPS CI/CD Pipelines (GitLab, GitHub, Atlassian, Azure DevOps)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work on-site five days a week at the Washington Navy Yard (WNY) with Core Hours 9AM–2PM.
• Familiar with Zero Trust concepts
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET or higher clearance and Security+ or higher certification.
