The New York Times Company is seeking a Senior Analyst, Total Rewards (Data Insights & Modeling) to bridge data science with talent strategy. You will architect global compensation structures, build predictive salary models, and drive pay equity initiatives to attract and retain top talent for our world-class newsroom and business teams.
You will report to the SVP, Total Rewards and lead advanced modeling for variable pay, merit cycles, and budget alignment across the organization.

As the Senior Analyst, Total Rewards (Data Insights & Modeling), you will be a strategic partner reporting directly to the SVP, Total Rewards. You will bridge the gap between complex data science and talent strategy, serving as a lead architect for our global compensation structures. You will go beyond traditional reporting to build and maintain the predictive models that forecast salary market movement, simulate compensation cycles, and drive pay equity outcomes. This position is pivotal in ensuring our compensation practices remain fair, equitable, and market-relevant, directly supporting our ability to attract and retain the world-class talent necessary to sustain The New York Times’s journalistic mission.
For roles in the U.S., dependent on your role, you may be eligible for variable pay, such as an annual bonus and restricted stock. The annual base pay range for this role is between: $110,000 - $125,000 USD
