Job summary

HF Sinclair Corporation in Dallas, TX is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Reporting and Technical Accounting to support the SEC Reporting team through complex accounting research, new disclosures, and policy review.

The candidate will assist with external reporting and general accounting tasks. Requirements include at least five years of public accounting or related financial reporting experience, a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, and a CPA license; a Master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required; CPA license required.
• Minimum of five years of public accounting or relevant financial reporting experience.
• Master's degree preferred; Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts technical accounting research to support complex transactions and prepares position papers.
• Reviews and coordinates external auditor requirements under US GAAP.
• Assists in preparation of external SEC reports and pro forma statements.
• Provides analysis and reports to management and internal departments.
• Coaches less-experienced accounting staff and supports SOX work papers.
