Job summary

National Grid is seeking a Senior Analyst (Supplier Performance) for the Contracts, Controls & Workplan Development group in Northboro or Waltham, MA. This hybrid and in-field role requires occasional travel to support supplier performance and materials management across capital projects.

You will build supplier scorecards, monitor KPIs, and drive improvements with cross-functional teams, ensuring on-time delivery and risk management in a dynamic energy landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (supply chain, business, engineering).
• Two+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, materials management, or analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with large data sets and reporting tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving history.
• Ability to support storm-duty assignments when required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor supplier performance against KPIs and lead times.
• Develop and maintain supplier scorecards, dashboards, and reports.
• Track critical and long-lead materials from PO to delivery.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for status updates.
• Facilitate supplier reviews and action-tracking to closure.
• Analyze trends to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
• Support recovery plans for at-risk materials and schedule recovery.
• Maintain data integrity, governance, and standard work documentation.
