Job summary

JetBlue is seeking a Senior Analyst, Social Media to optimize social media strategies and build compelling marketing content. You will collaborate across Product, Promotions, Customer Support, Crewmembers, and CSR teams to align priorities with social content plans.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication, and the ability to manage an always-on content calendar while driving engagement and brand advocacy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three years' experience in Marketing, Social Media and Content Marketing, Advertising or related field.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to interact daily with people at different levels and build relationships.
  • Willingness to travel overnight (10%).
  • Knowledge of social media channel capabilities, attribution methodologies, and driving awareness, traffic, and conversion.
  • Must have travel documents to travel in/out of the United States.
  • Flexibility in hours and availability for emergency response.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Lead partnerships with internal stakeholders and translate business priorities into social content plans.
  • Own planning, development, and maintenance of JetBlue's organic social content calendar.
  • Serve as project manager for day-to-day social initiatives and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Find novel ways to express the brand to drive engagement and advocacy.
  • Act as the team's subject matter expert on social platform best practices and optimization.
  • Own JetBlue's internal employee ambassador program (BlueCreators) including recruitment and engagement.
  • Own analytical reports and use insights to guide content strategy and identify opportunities.
  • Support creative direction of assets for social channels and ideation.
  • Collaborate with leadership to build product awareness and demand generation campaigns.
  • Develop social briefs aligned with strategic objectives with internal teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

TheSeniorAnalyst,Social Mediawillreport to theSeniorManager,Social Mediaand willplay a pivotal role inoptimizing JetBlue's social media strategiestohelp build compelling marketing content.This rolecollaborates cross functionally, building and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels within the organization. TheSenior Analystis an effective communicator, has a strong sense of strategic direction and understanding of the digital/social eco-system.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Lead partnerships with internal stakeholders, including Product, Promotions, Customer Support, Crewmembers,CorporateSocial Responsibility (CSR) andImpact, and other business teams, translating business priorities into effective social content plans.
  • Own the planning, development, and maintenance of JetBlue's organic social content calendar, proactively identifying always-on content opportunities, key business moments, and campaign priorities.
  • Serve as project manager for day-to-day social initiatives, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and ensuring projects remain on schedule from intake through publishing.
  • Find novel ways to express our brand to drive greater engagement and advocacy across our social media channels.
  • Act as the team's subject matter expert on social platform best practices, including channel strategy, copy optimization, link strategy, calls-to-action, and evolving platform features.
  • Own JetBlue's internal employee ambassador program (BlueCreators), including recruitment, engagement, content coordination, and ongoing program optimization to strengthen employee advocacy.
  • Own analytical reports and utilize insights to guide content strategy and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Support creative direction of assets for social marketing channels alongside the Social MediaCreative team, inclusive of creative ideation.
  • Collaborate with theSeniorManager,Social Mediatobuild product awareness and demand generation campaigns.
  • Support the development of creative and goal-oriented social media briefs, ensuring it aligns with strategic objectives, and work alongside key internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and insights.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business,oran associatedfield;OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experience
  • Three (3) years'experienceinMarketing,Social Mediaand Content Marketing, Advertising or related field
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Ability to interact daily with people at different levels within the organization including developing and maintaining ongoing relationships
  • Availableforsome overnight travel (10%)
  • Demonstrated knowledge on a variety of social media channel capabilities, strengths, and attribution methodologies in efforts to drive greater measurable awareness, traffic, and conversion
  • Must be in possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
  • Able to work flexible hours and be available for an emergency response on short notice
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
  • Five (5)years' experience insocial, content, marketing oradvertising
  • Previous Travel or airline industry experience
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, amicable and professional demeanor
  • Strong knowledge of social media management tools (i.e.Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.)
  • Self-starter who is eager to participate and contribute
Crewmember Expectations:
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on shortnotice
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
  • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun
  • Promote JetBlue's #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards

Compensation:

The base pay range for this position is between $88,000.00 and $132,000.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
