Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation in Jacksonville, FL seeks a subject matter expert to support lead engineers in development, test, integration, and sustainment of C4ISR systems. You will coordinate field support and logistics for GFE/CFE equipment and provide training on LOS/BLOS systems.

The role requires extensive airborne ISR experience, Top Secret clearance eligibility, and collaboration with maintenance and engineering staff across units. Travel up to 10% may be involved.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of Airborne ISR integration, operation, and testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert and assist lead engineers with development, test, integration and sustainment of COTS, software defined, and specialized C4ISR systems.
• Coordinate and assist with logistic movements of GFE/CFE equipment between locations.
• Provide field support, training, and technical assistance on LOS and BLOS equipment.
• Assist with design, installation, testing and fielding of Quick Reaction Capability mission systems.
• Provide round-the-clock technical assistance and field support on missions installed on designated platforms.

Job description

Description

• Acting in the capacity of a subject matter expert and assisting lead engineers with development, test, integration and sustainment of various Commercial off the Shelf (COTS), software defined, and specialized C4ISR systems
• Coordinating and assisting with logistical movements of GFE/CFE equipment between multiple locations
• Providing field support, training, and technical assistance on Line Of Sight (LOS) and Beyond Line Of Sight (BLOS) equipment
• Maintaining a FAA certification to hold a Class 2/4 non-aircrew certification
• Assisting the Maintenance Officer and Configuration Senior Chief at the unit level with design, installation, testing and fielding of Quick Reaction Capability missions systems
• Providing field support, interim training and near round the clock technical assistance on unique missions the systems installed on the designated platform hire to support
• Assisting the unit with technical data packages to include PAQ/EC documentation, using AUTOCAD software to create electrical schematics and cable fabrication drawings and acting as a liaison between the unit and Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) engineering staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in sciences, or an information technology discipline or equivalent of experience
• Ten or more years of Airborne Intelligence / Surveillance Systems integration, operation, and testing experience

Desired Skills

• Experience with the various communications equipment to include: Common Data Link family of systems, Link 16 radio and host processors, Tactical Targeting Network Technology (TTNT) radio system, JTT/IBS family of radios, OSRVT data link terminals, SINGCARS (ASIP and ESIP), HARRIS HF/VHF/UHF Radios systems, INMARSAT Terminals, VIASAT BLOS terminals, Friendly Force Tracking equipment, DRT software defined radios, and mesh network family of radio systems
• Proficient in all MS Office applications, MS Project and MS Visio, experienced with using AUTOCAD software

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL
