Who are we looking for? We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our team and lead the analysis of sales and operations across our dual-sided marketplaces at ATG. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive reporting and data-driven insights on auction results, bidder activity, sales, and operations. Your expertise will guide decision-making and strategy development, ultimately enhancing our marketplace's efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain robust reporting systems to monitor and analyze auction results, bidder activity, sales, and operations.
  2. Generate regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for key stakeholders across the organization.
  3. Identify trends and opportunities for improving marketplace performance, including suggestions for operational enhancements and strategic initiatives.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, and customer support to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  5. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to help drive the business.
  6. Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to optimize marketplace performance and achieve business objectives.
  7. Leverage advanced analytics and statistical tools to model and predict future trends and outcomes within the marketplace.
  8. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and marketplace operations.

Key Requirements:

  1. Proven experience (5+ years) in reporting, data analysis, and strategy, preferably in a dual-sided marketplace with a focus on sales and operations.
  2. Proficiency in SQL for writing complex queries for reporting and analysis.
  3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and extract actionable insights.
  4. Experience with Salesforce CRM for tracking and analyzing sales and operations data.
  5. Advanced Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables, power query, macros, and data manipulation.
  6. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar software.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  9. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  10. Strong project management and organizational skills.
