Job summary

Invenergy LLC in Chicago is seeking a Senior Analyst, Renewable Development to support the nationwide development of utility-scale wind and solar projects. The role involves identifying prospects, securing site control, and coordinating with multiple teams to advance projects from concept to interconnection and permitting.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in renewables, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 2 years of renewable/clean energy industry experience or relevant experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT, SharePoint).
• Eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Support development of utility-scale solar, storage, and/or wind projects in the United States.
• Identify development prospects, including initial site reconnaissance and fatal flaw analysis.
• Help secure site control through leases, easements, and other landowner agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform due diligence and reduce development risk.
• Support generation interconnection activities.
• Interface with government officials, neighbors, and the public to communicate project objectives and benefits.
• Assist in obtaining project permits, tax abatements, and other discretionary approvals.
• Coordinate internal and external support from legal, engineering, environmental, interconnection, and construction teams.
• Contribute to financial models and project schedules.
• Represent Invenergy LLC with customers, landowners, officials, and stakeholders.
