We combine an entrepreneurial mindset with deep renewable-energy expertise to help accelerate the transition to a more sustainable future. Our people work together to deliver responsible, meaningful low-carbon energy projects that benefit communities, ecosystems, and the wider energy system.

We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Senior Analyst, Strategy & Portfolio Management to support the strategic management of our U.S. development portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a renewable‑energy professional who can transform complex information into clear strategic insights. You will work across Development, Construction, Finance, FP&A, Power Marketing, and Acquisition & Divestment while gaining meaningful exposure to senior leaders and important portfolio decisions.

What you’ll do

  • Support strategic initiatives involving market, technology, and product expansion.
  • Contribute to procurement‑optimization initiatives in partnership with key U.S. teams.
  • Analyze large and complex data sets and translate the results into clear, actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Communicate portfolio trends, risks, opportunities, and performance considerations to business stakeholders and senior management.
Reporting, systems, and process improvement
  • Coordinate the monitoring and reporting of U.S. construction KPIs in collaboration with Construction, Project Controls, Finance, and FP&A.
  • Support the implementation and U.S. rollout of new reporting and portfolio‑planning initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that streamline upstream portfolio reporting.
  • Promote standardized ways of working and help develop automated tools that improve portfolio transparency, reporting efficiency, and data quality.
  • Own, maintain, and enhance all Power BI dashboards related to the U.S. development pipeline.
  • Develop processes, procedures, and templates that enable teams to work more effectively and efficiently.
What you’ll bring

  • Strong Excel modeling and quantitative‑analysis skills.
  • Ability to assess large, complex data sets and present the most important strategic conclusions clearly.
  • Strong business acumen and an understanding of financial and commercial modeling.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals and value drivers of the U.S. utility‑scale onshore renewable‑energy industry.
  • Knowledge of renewable‑energy development processes and U.S. energy markets.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
