Job summary

United Airlines is seeking a Senior Analyst for Crew Resources Vacancy and Training Planning. This role uses data analysis and Excel modeling to develop staffing plans, optimize pilot training, and deliver scalable workforce strategies.

You will work with Workforce Planning, Finance, and Flight Training Center to align headcount, vacancy levers and training solutions. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of related experience, 2+ years in a similar role, and strong leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in related role.
• 2+ years management level experience.
• Advanced Excel capabilities, strong data analysis, querying and modelling skills.
• Leadership, communication, presentation development skills.
• Self‑motivation to glean actionable insights from data.
• Strong communication skills, including dashboards/PowerPoint.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Interview process required to meet qualifications.
• Reliable, punctual attendance essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a manpower staffing strategy for vacancies and training.
• Collaborate with Workforce Planning to address midterm staffing needs.
• Use models and planning tools to optimize vacancy offerings and training.
• Communicate strategy with stakeholders across Crew Resources, Finance, and Flight Training Center.
• Balance cost, constraints, and flight operations considerations.
