Responsibilities

This is a remote position with a preference for candidates in the Central time zone.

Do you enjoy technical projects in payer analytics and managed care? The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL, VBA, and Excel, and will assist in developing solutions for requests related to contract modeling systems.

The Senior Analyst, Payer Economics, performs complex financial analyses, strategic pricing, and contract modeling activities for a defined payer portfolio. Responsibilities include:

• Leading payer contract modeling strategies and consolidations for large negotiations.
• Performing strategic pricing analyses to support negotiations and implementation of reimbursement rates.
• Monitoring contract financial performance and analyzing profitability.
• Interpreting contract terms and providing training on contract modeling.
• Preparing reimbursement and financial performance analyses, developing models to assess strategies and rate structures.
• Utilizing financial and clinical databases for analysis.
• Presenting findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of experience in healthcare reimbursement analysis.

Minimum Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies.
• Experience with financial analysis supporting profitability and strategic planning.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, Visual Basic, SQL, and related tools.
• Understanding of healthcare financial statements and data reporting.

Pay Range

$35.12 - $50.92 per hour
