Responsibilities

This is a remote position, preferably within the Central time zone.

The role involves technical payer analytics, requiring proficiency in SQL, VBA, and Excel. The analyst will support contract modeling and strategic pricing activities, providing insights and mentorship, and collaborating with stakeholders including senior management, physicians, and payers.

• Lead payer contract modeling and negotiations, acting as a liaison with payers.
• Perform strategic pricing analyses to support negotiations and reimbursement rates.
• Monitor and analyze contract financial performance.
• Develop and present financial and performance reports.
• Interpret contract terms and provide training on contract modeling.
• Conduct reimbursement and financial performance analyses using complex models.
• Utilize internal and external data sources for analysis.
• Present findings to leadership for decision-making.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in healthcare reimbursement analysis, familiar with fee-for-service standards.

Minimum Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies and financial analysis.
• Experience with data management, trend analysis, and strategic planning.
• Technical proficiency in Excel, Access, VBA, SQL, or similar tools.
• Understanding of healthcare financial statements and accounting principles.
• Ability to generate and interpret data reports from healthcare systems.

Pay Range

$35.12 - $50.92 per hour
