Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Analyst for the Managerial Capital Team to support our Commercial partners. This role emphasizes capital resilience, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

You will assist in the annual budgeting process, leverage automation to streamline data and analytics, and build capital expertise while evaluating the impact of new business strategies on capital needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Financial Services Industry.
• 1+ year of experience in Python and SQL.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong critical thinking with an ability to flex among and balance changing priorities.
• Prior experience working effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Experience with Google Suite.
• Experience working with Tableau, or other data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and execution of Annual Managerial Capital Budget cycle.
• Leverage technology to drive data, process and analytics automation initiatives.
• Become a managerial capital subject matter expert to build and maintain relationships with partner teams.
• Assist in evaluating capital impact of new business strategies.
