We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sales Commissions Analyst. This position partners with various finance & Sales Ops teams to provide sales and renewal data authenticity & analytical support, helping to drive business performance. The role is part of the Finance department and involves participating in project initiatives across Sales, Revenue, and Commissions processes. The analyst will drive consistent use of tools, identify efficiency improvements, and communicate best practices. We welcome applications from professionals with backgrounds in Finance and Accounting, especially in Financial Analysis.
Shift: Depending on the role (12 PM – 9 PM / 2 PM – 11 PM)
Work Model: Hybrid - 2 days in the office per week
About the Role:
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of sales and renewal data used for compensation calculations.
- Validating sales and renewal information, calculating commissions, and understanding compensation rules until payout submission.
- Understanding business requirements quickly and delivering accurate, timely results.
- Maintaining proper documentation and schedules.
- Partnering with Segment Finance & Sales Ops.
- Handling queries from reps and sales organizations with detailed research and solutions.
- Understanding sales and revenue data.
- Understanding compensation rules for different levers.
- Calculating and validating commissions thoroughly before payout.
- Supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
- Developing SOPs for processes and projects.
- Continuously evolving processes for greater efficiency and meaningful reporting.
- Managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Building functional and technical expertise within the team.
- Using financial tools such as SAP, BO, Access, Salesforce, and Varicent is desirable.
- Utilizing modern reporting, dashboarding, and simplification tools.
About You:
- MBA Finance, Master’s in Finance or Accounting, or CA qualification.
- 4-6 years of experience in Finance and Accounting.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and familiarity with financial/reporting tools like SFDC, SAP, BO, MS Access, Varicent, and automation tools.
- Enthusiastic, eager to learn, with a can-do attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of managing conflicting priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Skilled in ad-hoc analysis and clear presentation of results.
- Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
