Job summary

Invenergy LLC in Chicago seeks a Senior Analyst, Land Development to support the development of utility-scale wind, solar, storage, and thermal projects across the United States. The role reports to the Manager, Land Development and is based in Chicago, Illinois.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• Minimum two years’ work experience.
• Moderate to strong Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related skills.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills with attentiveness to timelines.
• Proficient in reviewing contracts and agreements.
• Experience with GIS, VAL, Curative Tracking App, Quorum, SAM, Oracle, and other company applications.
• Strong knowledge of legal descriptions and real estate terminology.

Position: Senior Analyst, Land Development

Position Overview

As a Senior Analyst, Land Development you will work with the Land Development team to support the development of utility scale wind, solar, storage, and thermal projects throughout the United States. This person will report to the Manager, Land Development. The position is located in Chicago, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Take a moderate role in the curative tracking process, including leading developer/land agent calls and meetings, landowner communication, and coordination with legal team.
• Maintain proficient knowledge of legal descriptions and real estate terminology.
• Support senior Land Developer on specific projects.
• Attend all internal project related meetings.
• Coordinate meetings between Land Development and internal Invenergy groups when required.
• Oversee and lead large‑scale documentation mailouts.
• Draft large‑scale documentation and communicate effectively with land administration, legal team, land agents, developers, landowners, and other counterparties.
• Continuously strengthen relationships with development and legal teams.
• Provide key support in preparing and getting through project finance and/or sale.
• Provide administrative support to land development as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Compensation

Base Pay: $70,000.00 – $82,000.00 USD per year.

Annual Bonus: 15% of base salary.

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, and skills.
