Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Sr Analyst, Product Management to manage growth and profitability for a state(s), product, or line of business. You will analyze complex business problems and propose fact-based solutions while collaborating with partners to ensure strategic direction and alignment for successful execution.

You will conduct data analysis on product performance, present recommendations, and influence pricing changes or new builds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytics or related field.
• 2+ years in data analytics or similar work experience.
• Experience with competitive analysis tools.
• Strong data analysis and ability to interpret trends.
• Knowledge of pricing and actuarial techniques.
• Understanding ratemaking and its impact on profitability.
• Familiarity with insurance product workflows and P&L implications.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct and understand data analysis of business results including product refreshes and performance expectations.
• Formulate and execute recommendations to drive growth and profitability considering local regulation and market dynamics.
• Present and influence recommendations to business partners on product/pricing changes or new products.
• May act as a SME for strategic initiatives supporting the organization’s goals.
• Mentor on specific projects where applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
