The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Senior Analyst, Innovation Investment Management to support investment analysis, portfolio reporting, and venture market intelligence. You’ll work at the intersection of university innovation, startup finance, and portfolio management to inform leadership decisions.

You will develop dashboards and diligence materials, analyze capital opportunities, and monitor portfolio performance, gaining exposure to university‑affiliated startups

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, public administration, or related field.
• 4 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, economic development, venture capital, or related areas.
• Demonstrated strong quantitative, analytical, and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct due diligence and investment analysis for direct and follow‑on investment opportunities.
• Review fund reports, manager updates, capital activity, and portfolio developments.
• Prepare summaries, dashboards, and diligence materials for leadership and committees.
• Build financial analyses, market research, and ownership analyses to support investment decisions.
• Monitor portfolio performance, financing activity, and external capital indicators.
• Prepare portfolio reports and briefing materials for leadership and advisory committees.
• Translate venture capital and startup financing trends into portfolio strategy insights.
