Job description

Senior Analyst, Incentive Compensation (Remote) (Finance)

The Senior Analyst, Incentive Compensation is responsible for developing, managing, and administering incentive compensation plans for all US-based, customer-facing employees. This role collaborates with key business partners in Sales, Commercial Operations, and Finance, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Sales Operations North America.

Working in a dynamic, collaborative team environment, the successful candidate will support Insulet's commercial success. The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand business processes and possess the technical skills to develop and report insights at all organizational levels. This is a hands-on role that plays a key part in driving Insulet's growth over the coming years.

Responsibilities:
  • Link corporate strategy to incentive compensation metrics and insights
  • Ensure accuracy and timely reporting of employee, quota, and plan data
  • Validate commission calculations
  • Provide analytics on sales incentives results and compensation effectiveness
  • Review, evaluate, and model new or updated sales incentive programs, contests, and SPIFs
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and self-service reporting and training for the commercial team
  • Analyze and recommend incentive compensation strategies to promote growth and achievement
  • Build strong relationships with sales, marketing, operations, and finance partners
  • Support ad-hoc projects as needed
Skills and Competencies:

  • Intermediate Tableau skills
Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years in incentive compensation or commercial analytics roles
  • 1+ years working with Sales Performance Management tools
  • 2+ years in sales process improvement

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, marketing, economics, or IT
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry
  • Experience with pharmaceutical data, IQVIA, and Workday
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and database concepts
Physical Requirements:
  • Travel may be required, approximately two to three times a year
