  • Help develop frameworks and provide thought-partnership to evaluate ESG characteristics of opportunities across asset classes.
  • Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of client ESG and impact preferences in portfolio asset allocation recommendations.
  • Produce presentations and reports related to ESG integration such as client-facing overviews and internal resources.

  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with the Investment, Client Advisory, Client Service, and Investor Relations Teams, as well as other key internal partners.
  • Collect and manage data on team outcomes across functions, maintain a related dashboard.
  • Engage with an extensive network of industry partners to support client needs and enhance our impact platform/offering.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role demonstrates strong quantitative aptitude, intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and critical thinking. We encourage candidates with these characteristics to apply even if they don’t have all the preferred skills. Candidates should also be early in their career and enthusiastic to lean into the full span of responsibilities expected of this position.

  • Approximately 2 years of experience in ESG and/or impact investing, consulting, investment banking, private equity, development finance, nonprofit finance, economic policy, research, or other relevant fields.
  • Demonstrated interest in both ESG and impact investing and passion for leveraging capital to address social and environmental challenges; familiarity with common industry ESG and impact investing frameworks desired.
  • Strong skillset in Microsoft Office, namely PowerPoint and Excel; proficiency in Python and Tableau or similar programs desirable.
