Job summary

HF Sinclair, based in Dallas, TX, seeks a Sr. Analyst, Reporting and Technical Accounting to perform research on complex accounting transactions, prepare new disclosures, and support financial reporting and policy updates.

You will work with internal teams and external auditors to ensure US GAAP and SEC compliance. The role requires at least five years in public accounting or financial reporting, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with MS Office, Workiva, and SAP.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of public accounting or relevant financial reporting experience.
• Ability to perform complex financial analysis and research.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conducts technical accounting research for complex transactions.
• Prepares disclosures and supports policy/procedure updates.
• Assists with external SEC reporting and financial statements.
• Coordinates with external auditors across jurisdictions.
• Mentors junior staff and handles ad-hoc analysis requests.
