Job Title:

Senior Analyst, FP&A

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of finance leadership, the Senior Analyst, FP&A is a high-impact, high-visibility role within a fast-paced, private equity-backed Healthcare Services organization. This individual will be a core member of a lean corporate FP&A team, owning recurring management reporting, supporting the annual operating plan and rolling forecast cycles, and partnering with business leaders across the organization to translate operating activity into financial results. The Senior Analyst will build and maintain driver-based financial models, deliver variance analysis and commentary that executives use, and contribute directly to Board, lender, and private equity partner deliverables. Success in this role requires strong analytical rigor, strong communication and presentation skills, the ability to operate with urgency across competing priorities, and comfort navigating the dynamic environment typical of PE-backed growth and value-creation initiatives.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Own preparation of the monthly management reporting package, including actuals vs. budget and prior forecast variance analysis with clear written commentary suitable for executive audiences.
  • Support the annual operating plan, long-range plan, and quarterly reforecast cycles across revenue, direct labor, and operating expenses, coordinating inputs from department leaders and consolidating into the enterprise view.
  • Build and maintain driver-based forecasting models at the program and department level, incorporating volume, mix, pricing, and headcount assumptions.
  • Serve as the finance partner to designated department leaders; help operating owners understand their P&L and manage to their financial commitments.
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses on client profitability, client margin, productivity, and other topics to support business performance and executive decision making.
  • Extract, reconcile, and analyze financial data across the EPM platform and general ledger; identify opportunities to automate recurring workflows and reduce close-cycle friction.
  • Contribute to Board materials, lender reporting, private equity partner requests, and M&A integration reporting as needed.
  • Maintain rigorous documentation of assumptions, methodologies, and reconciliations to support audit and diligence readiness.
  • Uphold financial policy compliance, drive process improvement, and strengthen internal controls related to planning and reporting activities.
  • Perform other related duties as needed to support finance leadership.

  • Demonstrated experience preparing management reporting packages, variance analysis, and executive-level presentation materials.
  • Proven ability to develop complex financial models and analytical tools in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, scenario modeling, three-statement and driver-based modeling).
  • Experience working within an EPM platform (Vena, Anaplan, Adaptive, or comparable) and a mid-market ERP.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
