Job summary

Sphere Entertainment Co. is seeking a sharp finance professional with FP&A experience to support Sphere Experiences, Exosphere Sales, Premium Hospitality, Marketing and Expansion initiatives.

You will deliver monthly, weekly and daily FP&A reporting, partner with Revenue Strategy on modeling, and collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate month‑end closes and data integrity. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting, 2+ years FP&A, and proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Oracle

• 2+ years of FP&A experience with exposure to reporting, forecasting, or analytical support functions
• Strong analytical instincts and a drive to understand the how and why behind the numbers
• Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Oracle GL, and Oracle Planning (Hyperion)
• Adaptability and resilience with comfort navigating shifting priorities and learning new tools

Responsibilities

• Deliver commercial FP&A support across daily, weekly, and monthly reporting cycles for Sphere Experiences (primary focus), Sponsorship & Exosphere Sales, Premium Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, and Expansion-related initiatives
• Serve as a key analytical contributor supporting two Senior Managers, with cross-functional data analysis and a focus on data integrity across all areas
• Partner with the Experiences Revenue Strategy team on analytic and statistical modeling tied to ticket projections and translate inputs into formal finance submissions (monthly reviews, forecasts, budget)
• Create scalable reporting frameworks with documented methodologies adaptable to Sphere’s global expansion
• Collaborate with accounting on month-end close, researching variances and communicating findings
• Design, build, and refine Hyperion reporting for monthly reporting, bi-monthly forecasts, and ad hoc requests
• Foster strong relationships with commercial partners to deepen understanding of operational drivers and FP&A processes
• Deliver excellent guest/partner experiences while complying with appearance and on-site guidelines

We are looking for a sharp and curious finance professional who thrives on digging into the numbers and understanding the story they tell. This person will serve as a key analytical contributor across some of Sphere's most dynamic commercial areas: Sphere Experiences, Sponsorship & Exosphere Sales, Premium Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, and Expansion related initiatives. This individual will collaborate with teams across finance, accounting, and revenue strategy. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in FP&A and a natural instinct for data integrity and clear communication. Above all, they hold themselves accountable, adapt quickly when priorities shift, and genuinely want to grow within a fast-paced, high-visibility finance organization.

What will you do?

• Deliver commercial FP&A support across daily, weekly, and monthly reporting cycles for Sphere Experiences (primary focus), Sponsorship & Exosphere Sales, Premium Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, and Expansion-related initiatives
• Serve as a key analytical contributor supporting two Senior Managers, with a heavy emphasis on cross-functional data analysis and a commitment to data integrity across all covered business areas
• Partner closely with the Experiences Revenue Strategy team on analytic and statistical modeling tied to ticket projections, demonstrating a clear ability to interpret underlying model inputs and translate them into formal finance submissions, including monthly business reviews, forecasts, and the annual budget
• Approach all reporting frameworks with a scalability mindset, building documentation and standardized methodologies that can be effectively adapted and transferred as Sphere expands its global footprint
• Collaborate with the accounting team on month-end close activities, ensuring general ledger accuracy by researching variances, identifying root causes, and proactively communicating findings
• Design, build, and continually refine Hyperion reporting across all business segments to support monthly reporting, bimonthly forecasts, and ad hoc analytical requests
• Cultivate strong working relationships with Sphere's commercial business partners to deepen understanding of operational drivers and continuously improve FP&A processes
• Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.

What do you need to succeed?

• Ambition and curiosity. We want someone who is eager to grow, holds themselves to a high standard, and takes ownership of their development
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in FP&A or a closely related discipline, with demonstrated exposure to reporting, forecasting, or analytical support functions
• Strong analytical instincts with a genuine interest in understanding the "how" and "why" behind the numbers. Not just the output
• Proficiency in key systems and tools, including Excel, Tableau, Oracle GL, and Oracle Planning (Hyperion)
• Adaptability and resilience. Comfort navigating shifting priorities and an openness to learning new methods, tools, and ways of working
• Collaborative mindset. A reliable team member who partners effectively across teams, departments, and companies to drive shared outcomes

Pay Range

$75,000 — $110,000 USD
