The salary range for the role is $73,000 - $90,000/year + Bonus
As a Senior Analyst (FinServ) professional you will be a vital member of a new and fast-growing vertical at Numerator - Financial Services. Your focus will be on supporting a core set of dynamic, high-performing financial services clients via ad-hoc projects/custom analyses and driving new client growth. Numerator’s financial services clients include Buy Side, Sell Side and Federal Reserve Banks (Private Equity clients are excluded).
How You’ll Spend Your Time
- Guide client users on Numerator’s Insights business intelligence platform to navigate the system, interpret results, and design reports to answer their key business questions
- Regularly leverage Numerator’s consumer panel and survey data to deliver analytic insights and data-driven stories that address clients’ core need of tracking the consumer public equities market (from macro use cases down to individual tickers)
- Assist with new business lead-generation efforts around specific Financial Services products and services
- Develop a deep understanding of Numerator data, solutions and services including their key differentiators versus legacy approaches and competing offerings
- Discover and explore interesting facts about consumer behaviors for presentation in industry forums, articles, whitepapers and blog posts
- Assist with legal and compliance requests from clients, including due diligence questionnaires
- Travel, as required, to support the above responsibilities
- Knowledge of and passion for financial markets, specifically Consumer equities in the US and/or Macro
- A high level of curiosity and deep desire to learn and grow
- Skilled at developing relationships with clients to become a trusted and value-added business partner
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills, particularly with customers or prospects present
- Proven analytic skills: conceptualizing, analyzing, deriving insights from data, and designing an execution plan to derive results from insights
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively to deliver results across a variety of simultaneous workstreams
- Understanding of both syndicated and household panel data (Nielsen and/or IRI) is highly valued
- Bachelor’s Degree with 1-3 years relevant experience. Degree in Finance preferred
- Experience in consulting, product, sales support, and/or service delivery function in relevant data / software industry (e.g. Nielsen, Circana, etc.) or experience as a financial analyst (Buy Side or Sell Side is preferred but not required)
- Working knowledge of enterprise software applications and services designed for the retail and consumer goods industries is highly valued (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, NPD, Dunnhumby)
