Job summary

Lantern is seeking a Senior Analyst, Finance to support annual budget planning and the rebuild of the enterprise forecasting model, and to own its ongoing maintenance once rebuilt.

This role reports to the Director of Finance and keeps the enterprise model accurate between planning cycles, handling data updates, formula integrity, documentation, and regular KPI reporting across the business.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in FP&A or a finance analyst role.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to build a three-statement model.
• Experience with NetSuite and Power BI.
• Experience using AI tooling to optimize workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise forecasting model day-to-day: data updates, formula integrity, version control, and documentation.
• Support the annual budget process: build schedules, consolidate inputs, refine 2027+ operating profile.
• Build and automate reporting (monthly insights, KPIs) for cross-organizational use.
• Lead special projects: market sizing, cost-benefit and ROI analyses for major initiatives.

Senior Analyst, Finance

Lantern Care’s Finance & Strategy team is hiring a Sr. Analyst, Finance to support annual budget planning and the rebuild of the company’s enterprise forecasting model, and to own the model’s ongoing maintenance once rebuilt. This role reports to the Director, Finance and is the person who keeps the enterprise model accurate and current between planning cycles.

What you’ll own:

• Enterprise model ownership. Own the enterprise forecasting model day to day: data updates, formula integrity, version control, and documentation. Support the Director, Finance on the model’s evolution over time, like applying new drivers (e.g., marketing activations), testing new model logic against actuals, and validating that updates hold up before they go live.
• Budget planning support. Support the annual budget process: build supporting schedules, engage with business leaders across the org, consolidate functional department inputs, and refine point of view on 2027+ operating profile of the business.
• Reporting. Build and automate reporting (monthly financial insights presentations, KPIs) to push knowledge into the rest of the business.
• Special projects. Build the underlying analysis (market sizing, cost-benefit, ROI) that informs leadership’s go/no-go decisions on major product partnerships, operational enhancements, technology investments, and other key capital allocation trade-offs.

What you’ll need:

• 2-5 years in FP&A or a finance analyst role
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; ability to build a three-statement model
• High attention to detail while also considering the “so what” of the company’s core financial challenges
• Comfortable owning a recurring deliverable independently, with minimal oversight, once ramped
• Experience with financial software (e.g., NetSuite) and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Healthcare or healthcare services experience is a plus
• Experience using AI tooling (e.g., Claude) to optimize workflows a plus

Compensation : Base salary range: $90,000 - $105,000 + bonus (depends on location/level/relevant experience)
